Hi love! I’m Zakiya Wright, a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach and wellness enthusiast. At one point in my life, I was the heaviest that I’ve ever been. I didn’t feel like myself and I knew that I immediately needed to make changes. After several failed attempts of losing weight using random strategies that I researched on the internet, I finally made the decision to book an appointment with a dietitian.
During that time, I learned more about nutrition and how to have a healthier relationship with food. As a result, I lost over 40 pounds. Feeling inspired by my weight loss journey, prompted me to closely study nutrition so that I could share my knowledge to help other people accomplish those same goals that I once wanted for myself. My goal is to re-invent the way you think about food in order for you to understand what it takes to keep the weight off…for good.
